Highlights
Popular stations & nearby attractions
Hubs, airports, markets, and the Light Red west end most visitors use.
RN01
Krung Thep Aphiwat (RN01)
The Red Line hub — long-distance trains and a walk to MRT Blue Bang Sue.
Also called Bang Sue Grand. Follow signs for Red Line platforms upstairs and MRT Blue Bang Sue. Intercity trains leave from the main concourse — allow time if you are connecting.
- Interchange: MRT Blue Bang Sue (separate fare)
- Both Red Lines start and meet here
RN02
Chatuchak (RN02)
One stop from the hub — handy for the weekend market area.
Use Chatuchak when you want the market without walking from Bang Sue. BTS Mo Chit and MRT Chatuchak Park are nearby — each needs its own ticket.
RN08
Don Mueang (RN08)
The Red Line stop for Don Mueang Airport — cheaper than a rush-hour taxi.
Follow airport signs after the gates for the shuttle or walkway. Luggage is fine in quiet cars — keep aisles clear in peak hours.
RN10
Rangsit (RN10)
Northern end — Future Park, universities, and Pathum Thani connections.
End of the Dark Red Line. Useful for Thammasat Rangsit (often via Lak Hok) and mall day trips without sitting in Viphavadi traffic.
RW03
Bang Son (RW03)
Light Red stop with a walk to MRT Purple Bang Son.
Change here if you need the Purple Line into Nonthaburi. It is a separate MRT fare after you leave the Red Line paid area.
RW01
Taling Chan (RW01)
Western terminus on the Thonburi side — floating market weekends nearby.
End of the Light Red Line. Pair with a Chao Phraya boat or songthaew if you are exploring Taling Chan markets — check weekend hours.
Need the elevated green lines for Siam? Change to BTS via Mo Chit / Chatuchak. For the underground loop, walk to MRT Bang Sue. Airport City Line is on ARL.
