Where the courses are
Bangkok’s outskirts, Hua Hin, Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Khao Yai all have serious layouts. Caddies are standard. Weekday tee times are easier. Heat and afternoon storms are the real handicap.
Trip shape
Three rounds in four days is more enjoyable than five. Stay near the course or accept a dawn van. Bring rain gear in rainy season and book caddie-inclusive packages through the club or a specialist desk.
